New EP Ephemeral as a Kiss available now to stream and download/Fall tour about to kick off  Podcast

The craziness of summer life on the jersey shore has finally settled down and fall is setting in. For me, this usually starts around this time but for some its earlier. Autumn winds off the bay keep all my windows open and I can see my crock pot getting ready for some love. But, like they say, "No rest for the weary". Fortunately I had a very busy summer, playing some times 7 days a week, now that has dwindled down to weekends which means its time for me to hit the road. Heading out west again but this…

Neglected the blog a bit only because I've been incredibly busy, and we all know  is a good thing. Whew ...where to begin. A very interesting spring indeed. After the last tour I got to play a ton of local shows which worked out great before my little jaunt to New England territory and a string of successful shows. I had the pleasure of traveling out to Montauk NY and playing at the charming cafe called  The Six Six Eight Gig Shack. Dope spot and gorgeous weather, what a wonderful place to be in the…

On The Road Blog, Part Three: Florida's west coast, Atlanta, Love for NC and home again

"In music, one doesn't make the end of the composition the point of the composition. If that were so,the best conductors would be those who played fastest, and people would go to concerts just to hear one crashing chord-because thats the end. But we don't see that as something brought by our everyday conduct. We thought of life by an analogy with a journey which had a serious purpose at the end, and the thing was to get to that end:success,or whatever it is, or maybe even heaven after your dead. But we…Read more

On The Road Blog, part two: Cafe Con Leche, The Band Room and The Hurricane

Hey
Headed from Savanah Monday to New Symerna beach to stay with friends for the night. When your touring it's great to see friends who are on your route who graciously provide much needed hospitality and comfort especially if your living out of your truck. It was multicultural night and I got my curry on and got to hang with some buds unfortunately only for a short time. Headed out Tuesday morning for the keys where I was getting geared up for my three night run at The Hurricane in Marathon Fla. The…Read more

" Are you going somewhere or just going?"- Jack Kerouac

Hopped on the road Friday afternoon after loading the truck with gear and supplies to my first stop in Baltimore's Inner Harbor. I got commissioned to play at The Hotel RL on "The living Stage" that they have at all their properties. It down pored the whole ride and the traffic was horrible(usually is in that area). Still, I showed up early and got to set up before my start time. This gig was pretty cool in that I was being filmed during…Read more
